The pure blue of the Atlantic, the majestic granite mountains, green fields, calm rivers, are the ingredients that form the colorful landscape mosaic. From the green fields of the Lima Valley to the ocean, there is so much to explore on this walking holiday, not forgetting the rich gastronomy and delightful Vinho Verde wines.
DAY 1 WELCOME TO ALTO MINHO
Arrival at Sistelo, small mountain village shaped, over the centuries, with amazing terraced fields, suspended as if by magic, on the steep mountain side.
DAY 2 SISTELO
Circular walk around this special place. At the end of the walk go for a swim at the natural river pools of Vez River.
DAY 3 VEZ RIVER
Stunning riverside walk along Vez river, surrounded by the pure green that characterizes this beautiful region.
Night Arcos de Valdevez
DAY 4 LIMA VALLEY
Gentle walk along the river, from Arcos to Ponte de Lima, one of the oldest villages in Portugal. Enjoy and relax, surrounded by the intense green of the valley.

DAY 5 SERRA DE ARGA
Our local guide will join you during this day at Serra de Arga. Typical and authentic villages, rural heritage and local life. A very diversified walk perfect to learn more about the Portuguese rural world and taste some local flavors.
DAY 6 VINHO VERDE WALKING AND WINE TOUR
Guided tour to the heart of the demarcated region of Vinho Verde, the largest Denomination of Controlled Origin (DOC) in Portugal. This is a unique wine in the world of light and fresh character, that’s available today in the categories of white, red, rosé and sparkling wine. The brand image of this region is the grape variety Alvarinho.

DAY 7 VALENÇA AND TUY (GALICIA)
Walk between vineyards and riverside towards Valença, a fortified town in the border with Spain. In the afternoon cross the border, for a visit to our Spanish neighbors, Galicia!
Following the pilgrims, footsteps cross the centenary iron bridge that connects the two countries. This short section of the Camino de Santiago will take you to Tui.
DAY 8 COUNTRYSIDE BY THE SEA
The day walk will take you further north, always along the ocean. The centenary lighthouse, on the top of the promontory is one of the day highlights. Pre-historical rock engravings, old boat shelters and the coastal landscape are some special ingredients.

DAY 9 VIANA DO CASTELO
Explore the old town center and fishing port area. Lunchtime at one of the local fish restaurants. Free afternoon to explore and relax or if you are felling spirited enjoy a surf class.
